The Catholic Action in Romania (ACRO) organized an online meeting on Thursday, November 9, 2023, on the Zoom platform, with the title “Listening to all: The experience of the Synod and the road ahead” to discover the beautiful and rich experience of the Synod and understand how in which local Churches, communities, associations and individuals can get involved in continuing this synodal path. PS Cristian Dumitru Crișan, auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Alba-Iulia and Făgăraș, Eva Fernández Mateo, president of the General Catholic Action in Spain and coordinator of the International Forum of Catholic Action (FIAC), intervened. Liviu Matieș, priest of the Archdiocese of Bucharest.
The meeting was moderated by Alexandra Măriuț, editor of Radio ERCIS FM, who, in the introduction, mentioned the Letter – synthesis “A synodal Church in mission” addressed to the entire people of God, fruit of the first session of the XVIth Assembly General Ordinary of the Synod of Bishops, where the experience lived during the synodal works is found, but also the exhortation that everyone participate concretely in the dynamism of the missionary communion.
