Eight church schools have joined forces to organise education for children who have fled from Ukraine and arrived in Budapest. Teaching is organised by the Seventy-Two Disciples Movement’s Teachers’ Workshop and the Piarist High School in the institution’s downtown building, with classes taught by teachers from the participating schools on a voluntary basis.
As a result of the programme, several refugee students have been able to continue their studies in Hungarian schools. The short-term aim of the workshop is to open up the core group to the wider teaching community.
