The year 2024 marks the 5th anniversary of the visit of the Holy Father Francis to Romania and the celebration, on the Freedom Square in Blaj, of the Holy Liturgy for the beatification of the seven martyred Greek Catholic Bishops.
In Cluj-Napoca, the anniversary will be marked on Sunday, June 2, 2024, between 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., through the guided exposition “From Cluj and from Paradise – blessed Card. Iuliu Hossu”, which will take place during the Cluj Days.
The event, organized by the Greek-Catholic Romanian Episcopate United with Rome, through the General Association of Greek-Catholic United Romanians (AGRU-Cluj) and the United Romanian Youth Association (ASTRU-Cluj), in collaboration with the “Cardinal Iuliu Hossu” Association, the parish Greek-Catholic “St. Joseph” from the book Andrei Mureșanu, the Greek-Catholic Cathedral “Shimbrea la Față” from Cluj-Napoca and the “Galaxia Gutenberg” Publishing House, represent an invitation to discover the life, work and spiritual legacy of a remarkable figure in the history of Cluj, Blessed Cardinal Iuliu Hossu.
