FIAC/IFCA and the Foundation Catholic Action School of Sanctity PIO XI, as every year, promote the celebration of this day as a step to be valued in the personal, community and associative itinerary to emphasise that ‘The saints now in God’s presence preserve their bonds of love and communion with us.’ (GE 4) and that ‘Holiness is the most attractive face of the Church. But even outside the Catholic Church and in very different contexts, the Holy Spirit raises up “signs of his presence which help Christ’s followers”. (GE 9)
In the situation the world is currently living with so many conflicts let us pray for peace intensively with intercessory prayer to Mary and so many witnesses in our countries. Pope Francis writes that ‘it is an act of trust in God and, at the same time, an expression of love for our neighbour. (…) Intercessory prayer is an expression of our fraternal concern for others, since we are able to embrace their lives, their deepest troubles and their loftiest dreams. Of those who commit themselves generously to intercessory prayer we can apply the words of Scripture: “This is a man who loves the brethren and prays much for the people” (2 Mac 15:14). (GE 154)
Some countries have prepared a short video praying for peace with the intercession of Mary and so many witnesses, we will share them on social media.
