In these days before Christmas, from the FIAC/IFCA, we would like to send you a warm greeting full of closeness and concern for each one of you. We are aware of the different realities that we live in our places of origin, but we know that we share the same mission, to proclaim Jesus Christ and make his Kingdom a reality in this world.
We need, today more than ever, to make a living experience of synodality in our parishes and dioceses in order to become a ‘social prophecy’ for our society ‘inspiring new ways also for politics and economy, collaborating with all those who believe in fraternity and peace in an exchange of gifts with the world’ (final document of the Synod n.153).
On the threshold of the Jubilee, we desire that the Child who comes to meet us again may fill our hearts with his love and tenderness and, as Pope Francis requests: ‘Let us allow ourselves to be attracted from now on by hope and allow it to be contagious through us to all those who desire it’.
To all the great family of Catholic Action we wish you a joyful Christmas and a year 2025 filled with the commitment to constantly struggle to achieve peace in so many homes and places in the world. Let us enjoy these days in the company of our family and friends, remembering and constantly praying for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged.
