On the occasion of the continental meeting in Kigali promoted by the International Forum of Catholic Action on the theme “Life, bread, peace, freedom”, the Supreme Pontiff extended cordial greetings to the organisers, speakers and all those present, expressing appreciation for the significant event aimed at reflecting on the new challenges of the African continent and while he hoped that it would favour constructive confrontation, reaffirming the importance of spiritual values to promote authentic solidarity and respect for human dignity, he invoked copious heavenly gifts for the good outcome of the work and sent an imploring apostolic blessing.
