On 20 January 2025, a webinar promoted by the Secretariat of the International Forum of Catholic Action was held for national presidents, assistants and referent personas of IFCA member countries to present the document ‘‘Safe Environment. Responsibilities, Commitment, Tasks’.
The document aims to include the general guidelines for the protection of minors and vulnerable persons established by IFCA, an international body recognised by the Dicastery for the Laity, Family and Life, in relation to the Magisterium of the Holy See on Church Policies and Procedures for Safeguarding.
The document will be updated in relation to new elements and guidelines that gradually emerge at the legislative and social level, as well as in relation to the evaluations that will be carried out in this regard.
The webinar was held at two different times, at 2 p.m. CEST and 7 p.m. CEST to facilitate the participation of the countries of the various continents.
